Collectors Events Unlimited have posted the first souvenir car for this year’s Hot Wheels Collectors Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia. Ticket holders will be able to purchase 3 of the ’83 Chevy Silverado 4×4 limited to 5,500 pieces. The patriotic theme of the white Silverado with blue and red stripes and USA”, “United We Stand”, and the American flag on the sides will sure to be a hit with collectors. This is the second time the ’83 Chevy Silverado 4×4 as a convection release.

Tickets Are Sold Out! Tickets for the 21st Hot Wheels Nationals in Atlanta, GA, April 7 – 11, 2021 will be available at  www.hwcollectorsnationals.com. January 9, around 9:00 am Pacific time… these tickets are limited to first come, first served. Once they are sold out, there will be no more added.

Mark and Jennifer of CEU announced this morning the the convention has been canceled. In an email sent to ticket holders…. Hello Everyone, We are so sorry to have to deliver this news to you… We have sad news for us all!!! We have had to cancel the Convention. Even though, we’ve worked diligently with our partners, Mattel and the Marriott LAX, for the past few months, to make sure all CDC Guidelines and protocols were in place and set up for our group to follow, to make sure we could all get together, have some fun and be safe. Due to a few anonymous phone calls to the hotel and the LA County Health Dept., with complaints about this show happening, we have had to pull the plug and cancel the Convention. The Super Treasure Hunt for this  case is #234 ’18 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon  MUSCLE MANIA and the regular is #226 The Beatles Yellow Submarine HW SCREEN TIME. The Hot Wheels id in the case will be the  Aston Martin One-77 it’s painted in a glistening Spectraflame Red.

It has been a tough few months with the Covi shutdown. Slow mail service causing a delay in subscribers receiving or not receiving the newsletter. Finding product in the Midwest has been difficult with shorted store hours and toys not been an essential item, Stocking the shelves with toys was not as that important. Now it seems product is flowing and most stores are just starting to receive product. Things have been picking up a little. But not in the quantities you would expect. Personally I’ve been laying back and not subjecting myself by going shopping.  I’ve been trying to keep up with the releases and adding pictures went I find them or receive help from fellow collectors.
