Sneak Peek 2 -The Ghostbuster Ecto-1 If you really want to have a good time collecting Hot Wheels® and want this souvenir piece make plans to come to the Nationals in Oak Brook IL. This was created for the eighties blockbuster film “Ghostbusters” and Manson Cheung designed the Hot Wheels® version in 2010. This events version is a green slime covering zamac car with white wall real rider tires, The Ghostbusters logo on the side and back door and the Nationals logo on the hood. HWC Van created this fun deco for the Nationals. This is limited to 2600 pieces total and will be available only at the Nationals in Oak Brook, IL beginning on Tuesday April 1, 2014. The Simpsons’ The Homer this makes a great addition to the previous two models.

We like the choice of castings but think Marvin The Martian on the ’71 Plymouth Satellite and the Tasmanian Devil on the Kenworth W900 would of been a better choice. Mustang Mach 1 Introduced as a New model in 1998, this staple in Mattel arsenal with over 54 release including variations over the last 17 years. I’m sure Mustang collectors will notice and other collectors may not notice this but the latest issue of the Mustang Mach 1 appearing in the Cool Classics series has gone through a casting modification. No longer are the louvers and rear spoiler a separate piece and can easily be removed or lost. The lovers are now a part of the interior and the spoiler is no part of the body. This is a much need and a great improvement to this casting.
