I found the new Attack Pack 5-pack in the Easter train at Walmart. This one includes another release of the Bad Mudder 2, and A favorite of mine the Jack Hammer from the AcceleRacerS line. It also looks like the Motorblade has changed names to Blade Racer on the package even thought it still has Motorblade on the base of the car. Look for individual picture of each car in the 5-pack section. The following day I took a trip to Target and found the Track Aces 5-pack. Two five pack in two days. That hasn’t happened in a long time. In the Track Aces 5-pack it was good to see a couple of casting that have been rarely used. But the Off Track must be a favorite with someone at Mattel. This is the 15 time including variations that this model has come out.  

Now at Walmart are sidekicks and PDQs (dump bins) With the G case assortment, these include the next three Walmart exclusives. The ZAMAC model this round are the Nissan Skyline GT-R (34) with copper j5 (j5cp) wheels, ’66 Chevy Nava with white rim black pr5 (pr5bk/wh-rim), and the ’10 Camaro SS with black open 5 spoke with gold rim. There is still time to get a ticket! VW DRAG BUS w/LIGHT BAR – #1 of 4 in the series of official Nationals souvenir cars!Phil Riehlman originally designed the VW Drag Bus in 1996. This years version is in Red, White and Blue Hot Wheels Race Team deco, with Hoosiers on the rear. Race Team Security on the sides, the Nationals logo on the roof with the light bar. Ready 24/7 for any Nationals emergency. The deco for this years VW Drag Bus was created by Steve Vandervate along with the official Nationals logo. This car is limited to a run of no more than 3,000 pieces and will premier April 9, 2013 in the official Souvenir Salesroom, Indianapolis, IN. Official Nationals merchandise will only be available in the Nationals Souvenir Salesroom during the Nationals week. Don’t miss out!

Reported on HWC Pictures  courtesy of Mattel. It just might be a good year to join the Red Line Club. There will be a new paint process for the 2013 RLC cars. It is a mirrorized finish with exceptional reflectivity and brightness. This finish is a replacement for the chrome-finish Spectraflame used on pervious HWC/RLC items and won’t be used in a retail finish. The new finish was developed due to the high cost of the chroming process that is used to create the Spectraflame finish. This new finish shouldn’t be confused with the new Spectrafrost finish that has been developed for Cool Classics coming out in late spring early summer. You will only see this finish RLC Neo-Classics and Real Riders series, Gulf Racing segments, as well as some higher-end one-off items. I recently found the latest 1:64th Motor Cycles assortment for 2013. The 8 pieces offered this round two are new models. Blastous, an old-school twin-fork design and 3-Squealer, which I haven’t seen yet but looks like a Rrrumbles remake. Both are nice additions to the Hot Wheels motorcycle line-up. The Cool Classics will introduce not only a new paint style but a new wheel as well. The paint and wheel was reported to be used exclusively for the first to two years of the Cool Classics line. The new Spectrafrost paint will use the Spectraflame colors palette in a frosty satin look.  The Retro Slots (rs5) wheels, as Mattel calls them are one-piece plastic wheels that has the 5 spoke slotted mag look. Great job on both the paint and wheel design, The Cool Classics with be available mid to last summer with 5 basic case coded of 6 model each. 30 cars in one color with no chase pieces. The latest cars offered in the HW Jukebox series are starting to appear at Walmart. There are only 3 new cars in this assortment and if you like Chevelles this assortment for you.
