For 2007, Mattel started with 36 2007 New Models, 12 four-car segments, 12 Track Aces, 24 Code Cars, and a new series called Mystery cars, which included 24 special models hidden behind blacked-out blisters. Many stores continued with exclusive series like Super Chromes, Flying Customs, Street Show, and others. Classics continued for the third year with 30 new models, which included 4 different Walgreen’s 3-packs. Walmart added Hot Wheels holiday assortment to their line. This assortment celebrated most holidays and occasions including St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, birthdays, etc. DC Comics and Mattel teamed up and gave us Batman and Superman 2-packs. Also, Mattel celebrated Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary with the Ferrari Racer line of 24 cars.\
