Mattel introduced one new series: the Vintage Collection which all came with a plastic button. This was actually a continuation of the 1993 25th Anniversary collector’s series with the same packaging, buttons, etc. Eight new vehicles were included. Each model, including 1993’s 25th Anniversary cars, had the Hot Wheels logo and “Vintage” embossed on the base. Also introduced was a new Top Fuel dragster and some re-designs of earlier vehicles.
