This was the last year for Park ’n Plates, and only two new California Custom castings. This series was replaced by Super Cal Customs. Five California Custom and eleven Park ’n Plates models were originally sold outside the USA. They were highly sought by collectors until the following year, when they were found in the USA at various Mid-West discount stores for a dollar each. The Ramp Truck was taken from Crack-Ups and re-cast as a regular model. The Buick Stocker was produced exclusively for Roses Department Stores. This model was raced by Tommy Houston in the Busch Grand National Races.
