These models were street rods with colorful bodies, pop-off racing tires and exposed plastic engines. They only lasted one year and were packaged with stickers and plastic play accessory, which were a plastic ramp, car jack or engine hoist, which came in assorted colors. The back wheels could be lowered and the engine would pop up. They all have a metal base, blacked out windows, bw and were made in Malaysia.
The package is blue with the Hot Wheels logo and “Super California Customs” on the blister card.

These are valued at $2 – 5 loose mint and between $7 to 15 mint in package with some of the harder variations selling for about $20.

This model resembles a ’80s Firebird, it was issued in bright orange with a pink, blue and dark red design on the sides and pink stripes with blue triangles roof. It comes with a car jack.
